I recently bought a 96 Ram 1500 5.2. When the truck is idling or in drive at a stop it idles rough, it almost idles like it has a cam in it, but once you give it some gas it seems to even out and runs ok. I have changed spark plugs, wires, oil etc. and given it a basic tune up. I am also having trouble with the tranny, when it goes into overdrive the truck shakes violently until you turn the overdrive off. I had the t/c rebuilt and this didn't seem to help the problem much. Any help you could give me on these two things would be much appreciated.
