Did you check the fluid level in neutral? ....FLuid level will not check correctly in the park position...

your transmission light is closely related to your o/d off light.. when you see the o/d disengage, look for a place to stop right then and there.. when you see the trans light come on, it's game over for the fluid..

heat destroys atf+4 in short order.. burnt atf+4 ruins transmissions in short order.

you need to drop the pan and let it drain for a good long time.. it would be wise to disconnect the cooling lines, and flush out the cooler.. while you're at it delete the check valve in the high pressure line (DIY in FAQ section).. make sure everything is nice and clean.. replace internal filter.. use new gasket if you don't have a reusable one... refill.. hope for the best..

DO NOT FLUSH THE TRANSMISSION

DO NOT USE ANYTHING BUT ATF+4

my first guess is the check valve clogged, or the heat exchange clogged, or both.. heat is a bad thing dude..
