the fronts need some minor machining to open up the center a bit.
ours was stock ride height, and we just ran the wheels with the factory recommend tire size, IIRC

And yes it is staying stock height. At least for now. Who knows what will happen down the road. I really like the 08 wheels and want to put them on but not sure about machining them.

Just take off one of your front tires, put the new rim up to the hub and see if it will clear.
If not grab a good drill and a handfull of stone abbrasive bits (the kind the sell for a dremel tool) and start carving away!
Warning the rims are cast alluminum so they should be pretty easy to grind away, just dont take off too much! And get the rims/tires rebalanced when you are done

It was done before we got the truck. I don't think it was much.
But we also did the same thing to the hummer wheels we have on our 2500 now. Really not a bad job to do at all.
