Default Seats from an 06

My dad bought new seats for his 06 2500 ram and i was wondering if they will fit in my 97? anybody done it before?

the mounting brackets might be different, but thats just talking on the phone, trying to explain what it looks like.

I think someone here did put 3rd Gen seats in their 2nd Gen Ram. I think they had to fab mounts for it, don't fully remember though....

The extended cab trucks are easier to put seats in because the floor boards a mostly flat.

My regular cab on the other hand has all kinds of decorative humps on the floor board

Why would he take seats out of an 06 and replace? I also saw something about someone doing taht and having to make brackets to make it fit. Cannot remember who it was.

yup when I was installing my subs and amp I was going to put amp under the center seat with one sub under the drivers seat and one under the passengers seat.

About 20 mins into the project I had the whole bench seat out and thats when I noticed the floorboards are not flat in my truck! Lol
