alright and i have a 5.9L, ill start trying to get to it since hey you said it is possible (not easy) to reach without pulling stuff

On my 5.2 the guage sensor, no problem, CPU sensor change was as follows, take 4 bolts for A/C compressor slide it out toward radiator. Use deep socket with no restrictions and one of the wobble extensions to get the angle needed to clear wiring harness coming across front of plenum. Only problem I had was somewhere in the past someone used some cleaner that ate the connector had to fab one with Radio shack stuff but thats life with an old truck.
