Mine didn't have any issues like that. There may be some thing wrong with your harness

 

i nailed it down to the mirror. i plugged my old mirror back in and it worked as it should.

spent an hour and 5 minutes on the phone with discount auto mirrors. first lady i talked to said i ordered mirrors for a 99... told her it shouldnt matter, she wanted to argue that point. i asked to talk to her super, she transferred me to a parts specialist, who then transferred me back to returns..... well after being on hold for 20 minutes, i got a new mirror coming and when i recieve it i will send back the other one.

good customer service for the most part. love the look of the mirrors regardless!! ill get pics later.
