I want to put a cb in my truck, but i dont know where to put it. It is a 5 speed so there really isnt anywhere to put it. Where do you think it should go

I don't have a picture of my buddy with a 5 speed at the moment, but I'll get one some time later this week.

In the meantime, it will depend on the size of your head unit, I think so here are some pictures from the other thread that is for showing off install locations.

Otherwise, I'd suggest something like this guys custom install, but having the unit oriented differently. Orient the unit to be turned 90* such that it the stick is to your side and the unit on the outside. Have it basically on the passenger side of the hump and is in view still towards you.

Just an idea is all.

I have my cb and rf meter mounted to a steel plate I bought from genosgarage.com,
I know mines not a stick shift, but the website says both the cb mount and cupholder will work for one.

I don't have a pic readily available, but depending how big your radio, you can mount them jus under the ash tray and still be able to open it, i dont think that should interfere with shifting. ill do some searchin...

i bought the same one as you from genosgarage. Cost me about 60 bucks shipped, best mount i have ever seen, real thick, easy to install. and you can still us your cupholder!
