battery hold down braket

Default battery hold down braket

I don't have a bracket, for my battery. the truck never came with one. can someone point me to the proper one.

I'm pretty sure most of the auto stores (autozone, advanced etc.) sell tie down kits for batteries, unless you're looking for the specific one for our trucks

Yep, page 161 in the 99 parts book found in the diy area as a download. Or go to a JY and see if you can find a used one or see if an auto parts store has a universal kit. KODOs to you for fixing this!!!

Check local parts store. They have an assortment of bolts, hold down bracketts, and misc parts. Pretty cheap.

A rope works really well, you just have to make sure you tie it down as tight as possible because the rope will move to where it's loose enough to slip out, then you'll have a battery in the belt and be stuck with a battery gushing acid everywhere and everything underneath badly rusted. But I've been using a rope ever since and I've had no problems to date except when I was lazy and quickly tied it
