Default huge lift cummins starting itself?

Hey guys, i am sure you all remember my build threads. well 3 or so months later the truck has been my daily driver since the lift. running the 38s and doing great. the driveability of the truck is astoundingly good. even pulled a 14000 pound trailer for 2.5 hrs at 80 mph with the ac on no problem.

the truck sat for two weeks due to being out of town. apparently my truck started itself several times while i was gone. i dont have a remote start or anything like that installed to be malfunctioning. now the batteries are not taking a charge, and i am about to jump it and see what happens. i can hear the starter relay engaging but not enough juice to turn it over.

anyone ever heard of this problem? i vaguely remember reading a thread about a gasser doing something similar but its been a while. i appreciate any input.

please noone give me any crap about the huge lift, and no 4wd. i dont need a 4wd, just like sittin high. i love it and it is built right and doing awesome. just need to figure out this battery/starting problem.

iirc there was a guy on pavement sucks or pirate that had the same issue. and iirc he had some jcked up chaffed ignition wires that would start the truck whenever they got wet.

on a side note. its good to see beefy back, where you been at man

lol, yea i hadnt been around for a while. building my truck meant that i wasnt getting my customers work done. so i really had to put my head down to get customer vehicles done and out.

then i move into a new shop in december, so i had to pull 10 cars and 3 20ft trailers of tools and workbenches and stuff. lotta hauls under beefys belt on the lift. did amazingly well.

i am glad that my truck turns you on! lol. i get people taking pics of it all the time. and never once had the police even look twice at me!

got a great pic of a lil girl swinging on my nerf bar like it was a jungle gym! lol. i will find it and post it.

but back on topic, i went through all the battery connections and found a bad one in the positive connection between the batterys. starting no problem now, and the ignition trigger seems to be smoothed out now.

guess that was all it was. simple.

now need to figure out this trick to help me n my girl get in it... lmao

still need to put the light bar back on. i like it, what do you guys think about the light bar?
