Yes, have a 97 1500 4x4 5.9l, after warming up the truck in the mornings and leave home, the truck starts to cut back (rpms jump back and forth about 300 rpms) after about a mile and only last for 2 to 3 seconds. After the truck does this in the mornings, it doesn't happen anymore during the day. Thanks for any help.

 

Pre cat o2 sensor comes to mind. I suggest you look in the FAQ/DIY section and download the manual and get a Haynes. Both have detailed instructions on how to check all the sensors.
