Question Shifter **** Replacement

Ok I found out how to remove the shifter **** from my truck but I wondered if any of you have done that and replaced it with a custom ****? If so how did you go about re-routing the overdrive button?

O/d is just two wires. I rerouted the to a guarded switch on my overhead console. I'm probably gonna put a stock replacement **** back on soon, an aftermarket **** just doesn't look right

Got the **** off alright without breaking it, but before I could re-route the wires the rain started here. I had to cut the stock wires and since I had to stop stuck them down into the column until tomorrow. I like the zombie skull **** I put on there.
