I don't really understand your axle question. Dodges don't have axle covers. In fact, I've never even heard of such a thing as an axle cover. What you see there is the axle housing....that's what pretty much all DANA/Chrysler Corporate axles look like. Except Dodge has the "wonderful" CAD housing cast into the front axle.
