I've got a set of eight nicely burned in, proven reliable Champion truck plugs that I'll gladly sell for that price if someone wants to do the science to prove or disprove that statement. Free next-day air shipping within the US, too!

Actually they help reduce the chance of pinging according to what I've read...and when compared against stock temp champions in dyno runs they gained up to 5 hp over them in some cases on the same engine... this is in the perfomance tips pdf in our DIY section...

Wow I can't believe I never caught that lol. I think I'm going to try a set just for the heck of it but I just don't want to spend $40 on spark plugs.

I know this is an old thread but I have the service manual and can’t seem to find the correct factory gap in the manual am I just blind? sometimes in threads I see .40 and other times I see .45

i have an all data subscription and it’s “usually correct” but not always..

alldata days .40 gap with 26ft lbs of torque is can someone point me to the confirmed correct specs from dodge?

I know it's a .40 gap I never torque them so can't give you that. Just a little too spark plug gap is on the core support under emissions.
