well, i did it, yup I DID. left woodruff key in old cam and tossed.....
i measure .188 width x .5 long x (at least) .235 deep.....have search machine shops, rebuild outfits and comp cam and nothing, and dodge dealers, no one has in stock (hanging head) i hope i am close to dimension.....any suggestions? is a 318 (5.2L) 98 ram

 

Try the nearest lawnmower repair shop.

 

Get one the nearest size larger, and use a fine file to fit as needed. Lots of precision machine work involves hand fitting keys. Key material is very soft. If you cut too much, start over again. Don't want it too loose. Dodge should be able to order it.

Go to FAQ/DIY section and download parts manual and get the Dodge part number to take to dealer.
