That was my original plan. But I changed it to fit in a larger box. the volume of my box is almost exact to what is recomended.

How are you going to put in the 2xDIN? I want to install one in my 98 but I'm scared to cut the bezel.

Havent got that far yet. I will take pictures every step along the way when I do.

Any paint with a plastic adhesive or flex should work

very nice. carpet easy to install I bought the stuff on lmc truck and ended up scraping it couldnt do anything with it spent 6 hrs in a 80 degree garage sweating my ***** off and just gave up. Thats the rubber floor right?

No That is black carpet.

The box I built my self specifically for that 8inch JL sub. I still need to coat the wood but im not sure what im going to use yet. paint didnt work to well.
