I could see those working but 2 things, first those things are awfully scrawny, and 2 for the best effect they would need to mount to the axle housing itself, not the leaf springs. By design our axles have some wrap to them. And mounting a set of traction bars to the axle will eliminate this. They won't stop you from losing traction and spinning out though, if you want better launches the keep some weight secured in the bed, preferably close to the tailgate

Traction bars eliminate wheel hop and twisting. Unless your wheels are jumping upon launch, traction bars wont net you more traction with burnouts. They keep the wheels planted and prevent axle wrap, but you'll probably burnout nonetheless. Like stated, weight will gain your more rear end traction...

Those will help with axle wrap up. I want to get a set to make my rear solid when towing.

You might be happier with a Roadmaster Active Suspension for that.

Sounds expensive. I can buy a chevy, blow it up and leave on side of road.

I've never had a life that wasn't worth three hundred bucks to save.
