Exclamation Exhaust Questions

Hey, I have a 1996 Ram 1500, 5.9L V8.
I am looking for a change to just beef up my truck a little bit. I am considering either getting a new exhaust kit, new muffler w/ original exhaust system, or exhaust cutouts.

I am leaning towards a new muffler or the cutouts. I am curious whether the cutouts will cause me to lose some power on the bottom end.

Thanks y'all

you will loose bottom end with the cutouts, I went from a straight pipe to full muffler and cat and gained a lot more low end than I knew I had..

I think I am going to glasspack it and just put a downpipe straight out of that. Make it a super short exhaust, but keep the back pressure.
