Ugh ohh sounds like I shoulda kept the chevy. I rode it hard and put up wet and all I had to do is replace thermostat once

 

Update: took bolts off, broke one. Threw away aluminum gasket and replaced with RTV. Let sit 2 hours before tightening and filling back with 90wt. Also did new battery terminals, breaks and a good cleanin while waiting. I drove only to repostion vehicles, figure I'll let it set overnight before driving hard. Thanks again for all the help, i learned something new and sure I'll be around!

 

Were you able to get the broken bolt out?

Glad you got it back up and running and took care of other things like battery terminals and such. May save pain and grief down the road!

 

Yeah broke off fairly close to the head, so after taking other bolts out and the skid/protection plate thing off of it I was able to get out with some needle nose.
