took it for a drive today... the heater core or the blower motor is most definitely burnt up. smoke coming from a/c vents smells burnt.

changed out the plastic vacuum line and double checked everything... the truck doesn't shake, and maintains rpm's.

Took it for a drive and it ran well enough for me to believe that the noise i'm hearing is a leak at the exhaust manifold and when I think of my 89 Jeep Cherokee... it had the same sound, and it was because the gasket on the manifold burned off.

so I pulled it off and lo and behold... a broken bolt. time to find my EZ-out and pickup some grade 8's.

If it wasn't for how good this truck has been to me, I'd probably just have sold it by now. I just can't seem to let her go.

what you changed CRACKED HEADS did it over heat? heat WILL destory a motor everything gos bad after a overheat
