Default drivers door hinge

I purchased new door hinges for my sons dodge ram. I have looked all over the internet on the best way to remove the hidden bolt. Can someone steer me in the right direction? I have reached my hand under the dash and cannot find a way to get to it. Do I need to remove any panels, or remove the parking brake mechanism? Can someone tell me what size bolt this is so if I do happen to get to it I will be prepared. This is the upper hinge I am referring to.

Honestly, iirc, the dash needs to be loosened and moved/removed to reach it. Whats wrong with the ones on there now? There are hinge pin kits available.

And there is a DIY in the FAQ/DIY section to replace just the pins. Of course, the OP already bought the whole hinge. SO, the FAQ/DIY section also has FSM's that can be downloaded.

If you've done it before you can pull the dash in about 45 minutes, but if you haven't may take a couple hours.

Mine has a male torx end & was removable with a female torx socket from the hinge area. If you can post a good clear picture, maybe I can be of more help.
