Body or Lift Kit
THE BODY MOUNTS ARE CHEAPER BUT I DONT LIKE HOW THEY SIT ON YOUR METAL PLUS YOU WILL HAVE GAPS AT YOUR BUMPERS.....THE SUSPENSION LIFTS COST MORE BUT THEY LOOK BETTER AND WILL ACTUALLY LIST YOUR SUSPENSION UP.....I MYSELF LIKE THE SUSPENSION IF YOU HAVE THE MONEY FOR IT...LOL
Body lifts have a few good points price and a quick change in height with out affecting drive line angle. Suspension lift is much more for offroading...If you offroad much a body lift tends to take the punnishment of body twists and with a2-5" poly block with a bolt through it this twisting isnt the best for your truck. I have seen body lifted trucks from accedents where the cab of the truck has broken the bolts. and the cab shifted forward about 6". If the truck had a suspension lift I am not sure it would have done the same thing. If its a money thing save the money till you have enough to go with a suspension. You will thank your self later.
well, what do you plan on using the truck for?? how big a tire do you want?
I fit 33's under my stock 98 Sport 4wd, but added a 3" rough country to give it more clearance.. and am VERY glad I did.. it looks great and the new coils were stifffer than stock so it defintly drives better now too....price was great, but do your self a favor dont buy from a middleman off EBAY.. go right thru Rough countrys website.. VERY worth it as teh customer servic is UNBELEIVEABLE
