HEY GUYS....I THINK I FOUND A SOLUTION TO THE RUST PROBLEM I HAVE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE DOORS AND AROUND THE WHEEL WELLS....ITS CALLED RUST BULLET AND THE WAY IT WORKS IS THAT YOU PEEL ANY LOOSE RUST FLAKES OFF AND IF YOU ARE ON TOP OF PAINT YOU NEED TO SCUFF IT UP A LITTLE AND THEN YOU PUT ON ONE COAT OF THIS STUFF AND IT GETS UNDER THE RUST AND THEN YOU OUT ANOTHJER COAT OVER THE FIRST AND IT SEALS THE RUST....YOU CAN GO OVER THE RUST THAT IS THERE BUT YOU HAVE TO GRIND OFF THE LOOSE FLAKES FIRST THEN PUT IT ON OVER THE RUST....I GOT IT AT WWW.RUSTBULLET.COM AND I WLL LET YOU KNOW HOW OR IF IT WORKS.....SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE BUT THEY HAVE HAD THIS STUFF IN SOME OF THE CAR AND TRUCK MAGAZINES....SO WE WILL SEE!

I'd be interested in how good this works. A buddy of mine used something in the past, I think called, Back to Black (not to be confused with the stuff used on black plastic). Anyway, when sprayed on rust, it neutralized it somehow, and turned the rust black. I'll ask him too.

YEAH BUT WITH THIS STUFF IT DONT TURN BLACK AND YOU DONT HAVE TO WIPE ANYTHING OFF ...IT STAYS THERE AND YOU ADD A SECOND COAT AND IT COATS IT AND NEUTRALIZES IT SOMEHOW!!!!!! I GUESS WE WILL SEE....I WILL LET YOU KNOW

Kinda off topic but I was thinking of spraying insides of fender wells and possibly door bottoms and inside rocker panels with white semi gloss rustoleum on my 2001 standard cab. Truck is white (naturally). No apparent rust yet. Even though I live in N.W. Indiana I don't see many 2nd gen Dodges with rust. But mine will probabley be 1st. if I'm not proactive.

ive heard of stuff like that, some people say it works some people say it doesnt i suppose its how you put it on, just follow the directions given.. good luck, jrmcx never heard of that but if it works it works ive heard of a undercoat being put on like the stuff you spray on bedliners, supposably that stuff works really well.. good luck to all

YEAH SLOSHADOW.....I HAVE A DARK BLUE 4X4 OFF ROAD TRUCK AND HAVE RUST ON THE BOTTOM AND I AM GOING TO USE THE RUST BULLET AND THEN ON THE BOTTOM HALF OF THE TRUCK I AM GOING TO PUT ON THE BEDLINER STUFF CALLED HERCALINER TO KEEP THE RUST AWAY....I DONT THINK IT WILL LOOK THAT BAD WITHT HE TRUCK BEING BLUE AND THE BOTTOM PART IS BLACK.....YEAH JRMCX......I WOULD USE THAT RUSTOLEUM ON YOUR TRUCK BECAUSE ANYTHING YOU USE TO PREVENT RUST IS BETTER THAN NOTHING BECAUSE ONCE IT STARTS IT DONT STOP TILL YOU DO SOMETHING TO STOP IT!!!!!!
