Default Blend door accuator questoin

I just boiught my truck last week, 2001 dodge ram 1500 sport edition, and i saw that there was no blend door acuator. so i bought i new one. it came in today, and when i tried to install it i seemed that i was missing something else...hopefully yall can help me out here.

Here is the Acuator:

Here is the shaft the the acuator turns to rotate the blend door:

Here it is mocked up:

As you can see, the acuator does not sit flush enough to twist the shaft. i believe i am missing another piece between the acuator and shaft. can someone confirm this for me, and perhaps point me in the direction towards finding a new what ever it is i am missing?

You need one of these. It's better than the factory plastic piece. http://www.heatertreater.net/magento...ram-95-02.html

Yes, but the black piece is the OEM plastic POS, that's why you'll be getting a metal one when it comes in the mail.
