replaceing door speakers
soo im tryen to replace my door speaker in my truck cause there blowen sooo i found out the hard way that there is a cross over attched to it because i have the infinty sound system and have tweeters in the A post i bought new 6x9 alpines not know that the stock ones had the hole cross over thingy so now im tryen to figure out how to wire my new speakers up do i just unpplug the the thing and take it out and run new wires to the out puts of the radio head(aftermarket sony 52w x 4) or can unscrew the cross over off the speaker and let it hang and hook up the new speakers to it and go about my day plz help lol
you can do either-
you can keep the amps/crossover things and wire them into the new speakers, and drive the 6 speaker system from the new head. some people just attach the old amps onto the new speaker bracing with sheet metal screws or bolts.
or, you can rewire completely and re-figure out how to drive 4 or 6 speakers from your new head.

ok well how do you go about keepen the crossovers and hooken the new speakers up to it
