Default help rear end question
Okay i have an 01 dodge ram 1500 off road i am rebuilding the rear end and i can not find what to set the backlash at help please?

I have never done a rear end, so no experienced advice to give. Sorry.

Have you downloaded the FSM form the FAQ/DIY section? It may have the info there but not sure.

Measure the ring gear backlash. The range of backlash is 0.006 to 0.008 inch (0.15 to 0.203 mm).
Right outa the FSM.
