Default Lift for 4x4 OFF ROAD

Anybody here lift their 00-01 1500 with the Offroad package? Im not sure exactly whats so different with the suspension from the factory but it seems most aftermarket lifts won't fit the offroad model...i want a bolt-on lift i can do myself that doesn't require too much cutting and no welding.

Tani1500 is right. The off-road sits 2" higher.

....btt....
that's what I said, but when I began looking through the diff. aftermarket lifts, I noticed almost all said "for 94-01 Ram 4x4"...."will not fit 00-01 "offroad" package"...I saw this with both Rough Country and Rancho lifts.

Contact skyjacker (www.skyjacker.com). If they don't have a lift for it, nobody will.

I looked through their 2000 1500 4wd lifts, but none say they DON'T fit off-road package trucks...so contacting them would be the best way to find out.

I'm sure it will fit, but it won't give you the amount of lift a normal 1500 would get. The Off-road package uses the springs from the 2500's...that's why it sits 2" higher than a regular 1500. If you put a 3" lift kit for a 1500 on it, you'd only get 1" of lift. You may want to look at kits listed for the 2500 series.

Yup I have one with the offroad with a 3" Skyjacker lift. You can lift them should just be the coils being differnt in the front and an extra spring in the leaf pack in the rear. I would also take a look at Skyjacker lifts they seemed to be preffered by most for the Dodge trucks.
