I've got a 2WD Sport. It is probably one of the lowest non-special edition Rams that is currently stock. No I don't care, no I'm not gonna lift it. I know there was a package called 'Offroadster' for the 4WD Sport models. I know also that there wer many variatons a trim level. There's alot. One thing that obviously makes a diff in ride hieght is whether it is 2WD of 4WD. Obviously a 2WD will certainly be lower, unless you decide to lift it. Which is beside the point.

I also noticed that the 4X4 2500 seems higher than the 4X4 1500.

The last time I was at the dealer, they had two `05 3500 4x4 Cummins Quad single rear axle shortbox sitting side by side with nearly identical options on the window sticker, including snowplow package, and there was a 2" difference in height between them.

They are. The heavy duty trucks (2500/3500) had larger and heavier (read stiffer) springs. And if you have a V10 or a CTD, you're way up in the clouds. [8D]

The snow plow prep package, camper package, off-road package, towing package, and tire option all influence the height of the truck.
