tire question

I have a 2001 1500 with a 3 inch body lift. Does anyone know if 35 in tires will fit. i have some 16x10 in rims i want to put them on. i just thought id ask. Thanks ray

I believ that those tires would fit,but it might also depend on the brand tire. Because all tires are not the same size even if they say that they are a 35 inch tire. You may hav a slight runb when turning but other than that you are should be fine. Just remember to check the specs of the tire you decide to go with.

If it is the off-road they will most likely fit. I purchased some 35" tires on 15x10" rims and put them on my stock off-road Ram, they fit really well but the backspacing on the wheel pushed them out a few inches and they hit the fenders really bad while trying to turn, so bad that once it hit the fender you couldn't turn the wheel anymore. After I put on a 3" body lift it fixed almost everything. They still rub a little while turning and hitting a bump but it isn't too bad.
