Default bad motor mount?

how do you check to see if your motor mount is bad?when my truck goes up hills and on flat roads i get this thing a few times a week that kinda jerks you forward for a few seconds and then it stops.I thought it was the tranny so I took it to a tranny shop and they road tested my truck and said it wasnt the tranny and the tranny mount is ok too.does this sound like a motor mount going bad?and how do i check to see if it is?

A bad motor mount will not jerk you forward. But if you want to check them, get a friend and open the hood. One of you stand to the side of the truck. Put it in gear(1st) and give it gas some throttle while holding the brake . If one is broken the motor will jump up on one side . Do it in reverse also, to check the other side. I think you'd be better off getting a Haynes and cheap multi meter and checking the TPS.
