Default ideas? Ive been spoiled at work

Hey everyone. I'm a bit disappointment here. I've been driving a 2008 one ton dodge with the cummins at work and have gotten so used to it that when i went to drive my personal truck (as I do not drive it a lot anymore), it felt like a power pile. Then I pulled the boat with it and it really felt like a pile, only in comparison to the cummins, power wise. I know this has probably been brought up many times before but I had no luck searching. What is the best chip or tuner that I can get for my truck? Superchips? Jet? others? Do they still makes those for my year? Or should I just live with the fact that this is how it was back in 1995?

SCT offers a tune that a lot of guys here use. I've heard some bad things about it frying PCMs though, but the performance has been satisfactory otherwise.

I don't have one because my motor is shot and I think it would be the nail in the coffin, but when I get a new motor in I am probably going to look for something of a tune as this thing is a slug.

Plenum repair (if it hasn't been done) and 4.56 gears will help. I am so so sure about tunes but I know that someone else will chime in.

No flash tuning for us Pre-'96 OBD1 guys

I agree with gears, but if you want Cummins towing torque... Well, buy a Cummins.

EDIT: Since we are sharing future build plans, I will be installing 4.88's soon, and someday building a torque monster 408 for mine

And new or gutted cat.(NTK o2's also) Also, for the PCM there is this option. http://www.bgperformancepcm.com/ Gears are where the power is after the other stuff is fixed right.
