Default Thanks for the advice, got any more?

Thanks for all the advice regarding the blown Plenum gasket and its replacement, I will be getting on that next weekend.

In the meantime, can I pull the front o2 sensor to bypass the plugged up cat until next weekend, or will that damage the engine / other components under the truck?

Shouldn't hurt it, you'll have a CEL on though.

you ...probably... can. it won't hurt anything.
it might throw a CEL code regarding the O2, then again it might not.
it might run a little rich, or maybe very rich, so if you do get very poor running, or lots of black smoke, park it.

but - don't sit in a field of dry grass with the engine running.
