Buying Trailblazer Light Bar for my ram
Hey guys.
I hope there are still some of you around here that I know. I wonder if tani1500 is still active.
Anyway guys I know I haven't been around in awhile but I am out of Germany and in GA now.
Still in the Air Force .
I have taken a moment to tell you dodge ram lovers that I finally got my truck light bar in production. Its a new twist on an old thing. I would like you all to take a gander at my webpage and see how it might work out for your ram.

I am very excited about this and it has been my dream for years to build it.
The whole story is on the site and I hope you find it useful

Thanks
Ron

Man it seems like it's been forever since I've seen you around on these forums. Not sure if you remember me or not. Are you glad to be back in the states? I remember talking to you about some Street Glow headlight bulbs haha. Do you still run those?
OMG yeah I do. I loved the bulbs. Totally pissed off everyone that I got behind. lol
Did you ever buy them?
I love light man. I love the fact that you can light up the night and keep on trucking. This whole light bar thing is a dream come true. If anyone in the dodge forum wants one after the release I will work with Ian to get you guys a group buy price.
I'll give you guys this link when I get the video up and running. These things are bright as hell. Ian went out to test them at an Airport and they were so bright the police came and told them that they were interfering with runway operations. lol 250 bucks a ticket.
Glad to hear from you.

Nope never did end up buying them. Not sure why I didn't. I tried several other bulbs since then but never have gotten the Street Glows. The store I got most of my stuff from at the time quit carrying them before I ordered a set so that was probably one of the big reasons I didn't go with them. I have come close to ordering a set for my fog lights just recently.
Well I figured I'd update the status of the bar. Basically its done. Came out better than we ever expected really. Insanely bright.
Lets see if I can figure out how to post up pics its been awhile

Looks like I got the pics to work. lol. Took a few trys. The 2nd picture is the Med sized bar and the third pic is the small bar we are making.

For Christssake. Your photographs are ridiculously misleading. To start, your halogen to HID comparison is typical MFG Bull****. Those photos have completely different exposure settings.
This first image was taken with a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi with a 4s exposure at f/5.6 at 22.0mm iso100. Good ****ing God. Everybody knows that using an obscenely low ISO in the dark will give you just that. Darkness.

This second image, is clearly photoshoped, as no EXIF data is present. Meaning the image was post processed. Also due to the extremely odd color on the leaves, as well as the purple tint of the tree trunk, I suspect that the Shadow/Highlight tool was used extensively.

Just for kicks, I took your original headlight photo into Photoshop CS3 and used only the automatic color and level corrections. Here's what I got:

Ahem..
The silly little glare and lightbloom in your brochure pictures are due to the positioning of the Camera in front of the lights, and the lack of a UV filter (which would otherwise remove most of this effect).
While I've got you here I have some questions about basic electrical inconsistencies with your specifications of the TBL-813.
To start, you need to be testing amperage at 13.5 volts- what is provided by the vehicles alternator. Second, who's ballasts and bulbs are you using? Are they Digital or Analog? What bulb base?
What color temp (in Kelvin)
Unless they are an OSRAM or Phillips product (which incidentally are only available for sale to Automobile Manufacturers and from junkyards), you are ripping your customers off, as Chinese plug and play kits only cost about $28 from a distributor. That and the Chinese kits are extremely low quality.
Stop misleading consumers, and take your shameless advertising somewhere else. Like your own website.
Ok fine.
I see your points.
If you read the whole post you will see it went from looking for something to trying to create something. I can now see it is getting old reading the same thing over and over again.
That was never the point to tick anyone off. The point was to create something not to build a product to rip off anyone. good grief. Well anyhow sorry if it seemed I was a ******.
I wont add anything else to this after this post.
Thank you for your comments.
Oh by the way. I was there when the pictures were taken. The beams were focused on the trees. In your picture you have removed the light from where I aimed the beams at. As for any editing to the pictures. All pictures on our site represent as closely as possible to what we saw that night. Anyone living close to the Atlanta area is welcome to drop by and check out the light in person. Not only will it save you shipping but you will be able to give it a test run in our show trucks. I understand the doubt you might have viper and even after your comments I welcome you to a live demo. Sadly though I think you might have lost any hope of getting a discount.
