Default Question, Need help

Hey guys. New to the forums. Got a question for you. I have a 01 2500 V10 rig. I use it for towing my race car and things like that. The load of the car is about 5000-6000 lbs with maybe anohter 500lbs of gear. The truck has 110k on the clock. I've had the truck for a while and never had any issues with it. Always have done regular maintenance. After getting an inspection and transmission service the truck is acting up kind of strange. While driving down a smooth road, the truck seems to "chug" the rpm's start to surge about 500-1000 and just acts pretty weird. It is a intermitent problem and does not always do it. It does this under load or being totally empty. I'm kinda stuck as to what to look for next.

What kind of transmission service did you have done?

It does kind of sound like a tq converter problem.

Does it still do it with O/D deactivated?

Same problem with my truck, would surge going down the highway, but It only does it under cruise. I have started turning od off in town. Thinking about going to a diesel, this gas burner is tearing up too quick on me.
