Erm, does that actually work? It was my understanding that the PCM (after being reset) would run the pintle all the way out, to "re-find" it's fully closed position, and then would take it from there to maintain programmed idle speeds and such.

just a quick word, removed and cleaned out the idle valve, it was really filthily, heavy carbon/rust/crap also cleaned out throttle body/butterfly flaps ect, it now runs as it should, so a big thanks to all who helped!
