can change my duallies to single wheels
ok i would like to take my dually and remove the rear wheels and put single wheels on it. basiclly i would like to take my 1 ton and turn it into a 3/4 ton wheel combo, would this be possible? i mean i love my dually but im making 800 mile round trips every two weeks and i don't need the load capacity right now.
just take 1 wheel off each side and throw the lug nuts back on. alot of guys i know around here with dually's remove the 2 outer rear wheels in the winter when plowing, for better traction. its safe, may look a little weird, but itll work.
other than that..... youre going to have to change your bed, get new wheels, and possibly a 3/4 ton axle to get the single wheel effect your after.
