I'm headin out shortly to give this stuff a try. So the rest of the can i dump into the gas tank. Will that smoke up until the tank is empty? Or will it burn without smoking out the roads?

Putting it in the tank isn't what makes the smoke. After you put it through the vacuum hose, stall the engine, let it sit, then start the truck...that's when the smoke comes out. You rev it up for a while till most the smoke is gone, then take it for a spin for a couple miles till it's all gone.

When I seafoamed my truck, there was not that much smoke sadly, or I guess that's actually a good thing lol

Perfect, hope this stuff works as good as the videos show. It'll be nice to get those injectors cleaned out also. not really up for buying new ones. Plus, just fixed the a/c and a squeaky pulley yesterday. By the end of the day, i should have a damn close to new truck.

I wonder how fast SeaFoam dilutes when put into gasoline.

Well, I burned half the can and put the other half in the tank. Didn't smoke nowhere near as much as i've seen in videos. Guess that's a good thing? Either way, the idle seems a tad better and hopefully mileage will be a bit better once this tank empties out. Did find out one thing though.... that exhaust sounds damn nice.. and damn loud.

Kinda late to reply but this company BG I believe makes some good additives. My father worked at a forklift shop and they had the good old salesman come buy and at firs they just didnt belive the guy but he pulled a motor on a stand that had no oil pan on it at all. the guy took a can of there product and placed it under the oil pickup and started it once it was all sent threw the engine and caught by a pan below the engine the guy left and went and got lunch. came back motor was still running didnt seize up or nothing. my father bought one can of the stuff and we did his truck in 2000 he got t boned on the passengers side so we were going to junk it we also remembered we had the additive so we took of the oil pan and fired it up since it was going to be crushed and recycled anyway we let it run ir ran for 4 hours at wide open throttle the finally gave out but long story short I would use there products. http://http://www.bgprod.com/products/engineoil.html

if you want to try cleaning your injectors and get better gas mileage you should try running some ethanol free 91 octane gas. depending on what your current gas mileage is, if you were to gain 1-2mpg from switching to ethanol free 91 octane it could easily pay for the difference it would cost you at the pump.
