Default 3500 Coil Springs

Can I put 3500 coil springs on my 1997 dodge ram 1500 2wd??

The answer is yes, you'll get 2"-3" depending on the springs condition.
2" or 3" block for the rear will level it. Longer shocks are good idea, especially if you offroad any.

for a 4x4 you will.... he has a 2wd, dont know if it is the same as us 4x4 guys.

But the springs will work right? No difference from 2wd to 4wd spring wise

I think they might be a bit different, not sure. I had a chance to buy some 2500 4x4 Diesel springs but didn't. I think the thought may have been they could be too long (since we only have about 2 1/2" to 3" max before needing larger control arms and what not....)


You could be the guinea pig and let us know!
