Default ball joint wtf?

sooooo everything on my ball joint R&R has gone semi-smoothly, but i've reached an obstacle that kinda has me scratching my head. lol i went to tighten the nut on the lower ball joint, and for some reason i forgot that one spins...how the f*ck are you suppose to tighten that nut when it spins? lmao i have to be missing something here, i just dont know what lol any help is appreciated! thanks!

EDIT: unless i didnt tighten the top nut tight enough so the stud gets kinda pressed into the yoke so that i can torque the bottom nut. idk. lol

That is normal.
You either have to compress (put a load) on the knuckle and then tighten the nut, or lower the vehicle and the weight of it will stop ball joint from spinning.

i was going to suggest an impact gun, and then torque it down to the proper specs once its tightened enough to not spin.. glad you got it figured out.
