Default Tuner questions

Only going to post questions for info not available by search. Can our timing and fuel sync be altered w tuners?

Cam timing...no.

Ignition timing...yes.

Fuel sync...I dont know, I dont think so.

fuel sync, no.. that's also a mechanical adjustment, but one that is performed @ 1kRPM, and whilst a scan tool monitors the adjustment..

Found a used hemifever flashpaq. Seller said there's 5 vin uses total and he has used 1 so that it can be used on 4 more trucks and has the three canned tunes. I have a 97 w a 5.9. Any potential compatibility problems could I run into buying a used tuner?

Yea it could be locked but thats about it. Atleast that i can think of. How much is he selling it for?

165 w cd instructions and receipt. Will have to ride my bike an hour and a half each way. I don't mind that though. I know my 97 has a complicated pcm but its listed as working for 96+
