Default fast pace crack blinkers

Hey everybody! How can I fix my crack blinker? AKA the blinkers blink really fast. All blinkers work, I have no add on to them such as LED's, they just have over the years begun to blink fast and it annoys me. Could it be the resister for them or whatever you call it? Thats really the only thing I can think of, I've checked the blinker fluid and all! haha no, I know theres no fluid. Thanks for the ideas

What are you talking about? There's such thing as blinker fluid! I've got a leak in my blinker housing so I have to refill the fluid every so often. You should check your blinker fluid because if you are low, it blinks really fast....it is just perfect when the blinker has about a 1 second interval between blinks. Here is an instructional video on how to do it,

Before you replace the flasher unit, have you checked for burnt out bulbs? If they are burnt out/not working, it'll blink super fast. It may be one of the filaments is burnt out too, not necessarily both (they are dual filament bulbs, one for signal/brake light, one for running lights).

Burned out bulbs have always caused a lack of blinking for me. Lack of current draw will cause the flasher to not heat up enough and not flash. If it blinks fast for both sides I'd suspect the flasher, one side I'd suspect a minor short somewhere.
