It's been a very long and aggravating day...my brain kinda shut down. Then again...an oil change never hurt anything either
OT: If it was the original TB gasket, it's probably so brittle that it will turn into dust soon enough.
Well oil does need changed lol. It was very brittle, a corner of the gasket fell in and I was able to take the other half of the gasket off and put it aside, put everything back together, headed to the parts store tomorrow to get a new gasket .
It's been a very long and aggravating day...my brain kinda shut down. Had an Freightliner today that wouldn't build oil pressure higher than 35PSI today. It ended up being a piece of gasket lodged into the bypass.

what engine did the freightliner have? i used to drive one that had a mercedes-benz engine. ****ty on power, but never gave me any problems for the most part lol

I would not take the whole thing apart again for this piece of gasket. It will be fine as others have stated.Odds are, its already gone and not an issue since you have run it already.
