tcc code 37 guys that's had it&fixed it please.
Ok fellas so this is the deal I get the code 37 tcc solenoid shortned or open or high trans temp sensor.Well since my truck dosnt have the tow package. So that's not a issue. Some guys on here have told me to ignore it but...if you've read my other posts the truck shakes around 45&don't think I have a miss so I'm thinking maybe I shouldnt ignore it.Pretty sure I'm gonna swap it out incase that's it before it causes bigger problems.
That being said who has gotten this code&how was your truck acting&did you replace the tcc solenoid...what were the results? Thanks |
On yours, if you have a trans temp sensor, it will be in one of the cooler lines, very near the trans. Check it out.
If TCC works....... I am not sure what the PCM would be whining about.... Changing the fluid/filter and solenoid set (O/D and TCC) sure wouldn't hurt. See if that addresses the shudder as well. |
No trans temp sensor

None of you guys have had this issue?
|
Man those parts are expensive Id hate to just throw parts@it
|
Where are you pricing them from?
Check out Wittrans.com |
ok Will do&from local parts stores
|
So nobody has dealt with this issue?
|
Have you changed out the solenoid set yet? I seem to recall another member having this issue, and the problem was chafed wires inside the trans pan intermittently grounding out. Wouldn't hurt to drop the pan and have a look.
