I was thinking of buying 4 of the Cooper STT Mud terrain tires p285 75r 16 anyone ever try these? Thet are going on my 1997 1500

 

Dont buy the cooper tires i have a 97 dodge ram 1500 4x4 offroad and bought them i had 3 flat tires one blew out on me they also werent that good in the mud and snow i just got new tires i bought firestone widetrack M/T's they are way better and are aweasome in mudd and snow also wear very good ive had them for like 6 months now and no flat tires i would go the same route or try goodyear m/t's there also supposed to be good.

 

I've got cooper discovery a/t's on mine and the the discovery is that they won't make 14,000 miles. They wear so fast you can almost see it daily. They are wearing flat and even so I know it isn't an alingment issue. They have also started to crack in the side wall. Not impressed for $550.00 worth of rubber.

 

I had 31" x 10.5" Discovery ST's on my Bronco and after 2 years they still looked like new. I put 265/75R16 Discovery ST's on my 2000 Ram 1500 as soon as i got it and after a year they still look new.

 

My dad also has the same tires and they seem to wear very fast. He drives a lot of gravel roads and had one large rock (about finger size in diameter) go thru the tread and believes another rock has went thru a different tire. Doesn't impress me much at all.
