Default Hard to start after sitting a while

I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2 - all of the sudden one morning my truck wouldnt start.. I was able to eventually pump the gas and it eventually started... for the rest of the day it will start and run fine.. but once again if I let it sit for 8 hours or maybe more I have the same issue.. pumping the gas and cranking it a few times seems to start it.. usually runs fine rest of the day.. sometimes right after starting it will start to die and just a quick pump of the gas keeps it going.. I went to the local part store and got a fuel pressure gauge.. while turning the key on with out starting it was at 20psi.. once started jumps up to 49psi and remains there.. once i kill the truck it doesn't drop from the 49psi for a long time..

I went a head and replaced the battery and test the alternator at first but doesnt seem to be anything to do with those .. more of a fuel issue..

Next time on the cold start cycle the ignition switch on for about 5 seconds and off 3 times before trying to start the engine. Sounds like the fuel pump is leaking down overnight and causing a no fuel pressure issue. If it starts right up then the fuel pump is on it's way out.

Try cleaning the TB and IAC also. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/dodge-r...n-the-iac.html

And disconnect the negative battery cable before doing so.
