ABS and Brake light on...
Just started today, ABS and brake indicators are lit up on the dash. I do however have pedal and my brakes feel fine. I put the analyzer on it and only got one code saying that the catalytic converter is bad. This actually makes sense because i had issues with the engine bogging down and backfiring for sometime now. I replaced the fuel pump and filter hoping to solve the problem but that didn't work. Could the bad/clogged cat. be throwing the ABS and brake codes? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Read the End All Be All Plenum thread for the bogging and backfiring-blown plenum gasket under the intake causes a massive vacuum leak and usually oil consumption. Usually, the ABS/speed sensor is responsible for the brake and ABS light with no other symptoms.
I have the ABS and Brake light issue also, but I just changed master cylinder asn suspect air in system. But clogged cat or penmum cannot cause those lights to come on.
Bleed your brakes and see what happens, then check/replace sensor on top of differential if needed.

I've got a 95 Dakota and had to replace the last motor cause my dads clients boy blowed the last one up and my abs light is always on so I cleaned so connectors and got the messy slop wire job the last guy left of the motor and it turned off
