Printed off a thread here about replacing the seals. I removed both axles Took the pumpkin plate off, removed the 4 bolts and bolt caps. Used 2 pry bars and can only make it move just over a half inch. Seems the passengers side of the carrier assembly is getting hung up on something and wont let it be loose. Any suggestions on just how the hell you get this out?

 

Oh ya it is a ram 1500 2001

 

Does the '01 have a CAD in front axle? If so, did you remove the inner RH shaft, and in order to do that you'll have to remove the CAD-actuator.
