how long is it after the Y ?
is it long enough to replace the cat and reach the stock muffler?
does it have a bolt on flange on the end ?
does it have a bung for the rear O2?
+1... That pic is generic.

The cat assemblies might not all be the same length, it's the intermediate pipes that are different length's, depending on wheel base. You can mix and match if the cat pipe is not the right/same length as original.

y-pipe came today and i installed it. it fit like a dream and the pipe was the correct length to reach the stock muffler on my regular cab short bed. the only hard part was getting the intermediate pipe out of the stock muffler without destroying the muffler.

the y-pipe sounds better than the hollow cat which sounded like fido's ***.

this was a problem. the severe crimp on the stock muffler inlet took a lot of work to remove w/o tearing it all to hell. i eventually cut the pipe off at the inlet and then cut the inner pipe lengthways with a sawsall.

Excellent pics and info DV. Im going to do the same. But Im going to wait a bit longer to see how long that Y pipe actually lasts. I'm thinking the New England weather is going to toast it in less than a year.

Just going by the pictures it doesn't look like there is a lot of difference in the style of the 2 Y pipes...

^ correct. i've never seen the 94-99 Y pipe to compare with, but the stock 00-01 was not that bad of a joint.

it fits good. if anyone needs to replace old pipe, or replace their cat, or replace a hollowed out cat, its good for that.

i'll get some completed pictures up tonight.
