Do you have a link to what you're looking at? Technically we already have 1 piece headlights and I just want to know where the breakdown in terminology is.

no really don't have a link. the factory headlights are not connected to marker lights so they are 2 pieces. i have seen headlights that have the marker lights built into the headlight which makes it a one-piece design.

I have heard the one piece lights are hard to aim. I just ordered some new OE style ones yesterday.

Use google to search for images with the title of your thread. That's what I do when I want to see how something looks...ashlar check ebay for those lights. Sometimes they will have pictures of the truck with the lights installed.

i recently put once pieces in on mine, there black lenses though so i dont think my pictures would do much justice for you as they just look black during the day. Ive always liked the one piece look better though, it cleans the front of the truck up a bit

They do look better but there are a couple drawbacks, important drawbacks if you ask me.
The lights I got have no adjusters so aiming requires cutting/shims where they bolt to the truck.
The cutting and shims will make the light poke out a little on one side or the other and won't be flush with the metal on the front of the fender.
The light doesn't flood as well as the stock housings, it's more of a spot without a lot of light being spread out away from the center of the beam.
My signature picture has a shot of one of them, I have more if you want to see them.

ya the one-piecers that came on mine when i bought it are garbage. i have to run the "brights" just to see my light hit the ground and theyre still not as bright as any vehicles stock headlights. cant wait to swap them out! gotta get new housings tho, i honestly dont know how my lights stay in when i can pull them out with no pressure and put them back in lol

the ones i got were fine, had to play with them a little to get the aim right but there good now, my lenses are basically black so i knew therred be less light output but with hids in them and in the fogs i can still see way better than i could with the stock headlights no issues here at all
