I just bought a 1995 dodge 1500 auto with the 5.2. The overhead console does not work, the dash-mounted O/D switch does not light up and the indicator lights for the gear position on the center of the gauge cluster do not work, are these issues related? Where do I begin besides checking the fuses? I also lose my headlights when I tilt my column more than half-way down. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Joe

 

Start by removing the knee panel under the steering column, and check the wires running down beside it. Pretty common issue with a tilt wheel.
