So ive got a 95 8.0 on the stand and i wanna see what kind of power it can make for my mud truck. My buddy owns a machine shop so heres the plan

Bore block .030
Bush little end of rods to accept kb forged pistons
0 deck block
Custom grind camshaft
Port match heads and intake
Polish tb
Headers
24# fuel injectors
Compression will be 11 to 1

With a custom dyno tune any ballpark on power numbers. Has it been done?

 

As far as the cam goes im gonna get it specd out by my tuner so idk exactly what its gonna be yet.. I can tell you we are gonna be doing some head work and going with slightly oversized intake and exhaust valves as well as some very nice dual valve springs. We are gonna measure out max valve lift without interference and go pretty close to that. Are there aftermarket throttlebodys for the v10 out there?
